Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to nourish and serve those most in need in our community with compassion, dignity, and action.

The Community Food Pantry provides essential food support to individuals and families across the greater Reno/Sparks area. Twice a week, we distribute a three-day food supply to those in need—offered once per month per household.

Since our founding, the Pantry has grown through the dedication of our volunteers, who contribute over 5,000 hours of service each year. Together, we serve more than 65,000 people annually, half of whom are children and seniors.

Our work is made possible through our partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, along with generous contributions from local grocery stores, individuals, and families who share our commitment to fighting hunger in our community.
